Angono Unity Band
Angono Unity Band Singko The Angono Unity Band Singko, established in 2015 in Angono, Rizal, began its journey on May 31, 2015 during the Grand Flores de Mayo celebration in Barangay Libid, Binangonan. It was during this event that a group of musician friends and acquaintances came together to form a band rooted in camaraderie and shared passion for music. At its inception, the group consisted of five active members, which inspired the name Angono Unity Band Singko.
The band was formally introduced to the public on November 22, 2015. As the years passed, the group experienced several transitions as some members moved on to establish their own bands, while others focused on their studies or careers. Despite these changes, the band remained steadfast in its commitment to nurturing musical talent and keeping the spirit of community band music alive.
Today, the band is led by Mr. Paul Cedric “Cedie” Tunque, who continues to guide and manage the organization.
Through the challenges they have faced, the members have drawn inspiration to sustain the mission of the Angono Unity Band (AUB). With 35 active members and the continued support of fellow bands and the parents of their young musicians, Angono Unity Band Singko remains dedicated to inspiring the community and sharing the joy of music in fiestas, processions, and various local events.
